What do 4R, 5R, 8R and 11R mean?
They are standard print sizes. R refers to the format, and the number sets the shorter edge in inches.
- 4R: 4 x 6 in (102 x 152 mm)
- 5R: 5 x 7 in (127 x 178 mm)
- 8R: 8 x 10 in (203 x 254 mm)
- 11R: 11 x 14 in (279 x 356 mm)
4R is the classic photo size for albums and wallets. 5R suits small frames and desk displays. 8R and 11R are sized for framing and wall display.
What paper do you print on?
All prints are produced on 170gsm fine coated photo paper. The finish is set by size:
- 4R: lustre or gloss
- 5R: lustre
- 8R and 11R: matte
Gloss gives the strongest colour saturation and deepest blacks, and suits vivid images and portraits. Lustre has a subtle sheen with less reflection, so it holds colour well while staying easy to view under bright light. Matte has no reflection at all, which suits the larger sizes intended for framing, and it does not show fingerprints.
Can I order different sizes in one order?
Yes. Add each size to your cart separately and they will ship together in one parcel. You can also order multiple copies of the same photo in different sizes.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, on orders that reach a qualifying amount. The amount is shown at checkout and varies by market. The qualifying total is calculated after any promotion or voucher code is applied, and money paid for vouchers does not count toward it.
What are the shipping options?
We offer three delivery speeds:
- Standard: 5 to 8 business days
- Premium Express: 4 to 7 business days
- Super Rush: 3 to 5 business days
All timeframes cover production and delivery combined, and vary by location and during peak season. Every option includes tracking. We cannot deliver to PO Boxes, as our couriers require a physical delivery address.
