Why is Photobook changing? What’s the difference between the old and new site?
We’ve rebuilt Photobook’s experience based on feedback over the years. You'll find a simpler way to browse, a more intuitive editor, and an easier path from an idea to your finished personalised product.
Behind the scenes, we've rebuilt the foundations, but the care, the quality, and the craft you know us for haven't changed one bit.
We're also building a new loyalty programme that recognises every customer by their history with us. Your tier is based on your spend, and higher tier means better rewards, so come back with us and we’ll make it worth your while when it launches!
How do I use the new editor?
To begin, please sign in so your project can be saved. Select a product, and choose your photos.
The new editor works in the same way you are used to, with more features to help you along. You have more options to customise your photobook than before. You can also change your mind while you are designing: the size, the template, and the book type can all be changed inside the editor, and your photos stay in your saved project, so you never need to start again. Alongside this, the editor has tools to help you sort your photos, arrange them onto your pages, and decorate them.

Does this affect the mobile app?
The Photobook app is getting its own refresh, and we can't wait to share it with you. For now, the current app continues to work as it always has, we'll be sure to let you know when the update is ready.
Account & login
Why do I have to create an account again when I already have an account?
The new site runs on a different system, so you'll need to set up an account there too. Please use the same email address as your existing account, as that's what links your details like your store credit and account history across to the new site.
It only takes a moment, and there's no password to remember. You'll log in with a one-time code (OTP) sent to your email.
Important: Make sure you have continued access to that email inbox, due to OTP requirements.
I didn’t receive an OTP code in my inbox.
OTP codes usually arrive within a minute or two. If yours hasn't come through, try these quick checks:
- Look in your spam, junk, or promotions folder
- Make sure you've entered the same email address tied to your account
- Wait a moment, then request a new code

I’m an existing customer. Can I use a new email address?
To keep your existing account data, you need to authenticate (create an account or sign-in) with your existing email address. Once you’ve signed in, you’re welcome to update your email address in your account settings.
What if I no longer have access to my original email address?
For privacy and data protection reasons, your login is tied to your original email address and can't be transferred to a new one. To keep accessing your account, projects you create there, and order history, you'll need to recover access to that inbox directly with your email provider.
Will my saved addresses (billing/ shipping) carry over into my new account?
Your default shipping address will carry across into the new platform automatically, as long as you login with the same email.
Will my payment information be saved?
For security and privacy concerns, Photobook has never saved your card/ payment information. Your browser or operating system is likely auto-filling those payment details during checkout.
What will happen to my account if I don’t re-login?
To keep using Photobook and have access to any store credits, order history, you’ll need to login on the new site. Old account data will eventually be removed in line with our privacy policy, so it’s worth setting up your new account whenever you’re ready.
Saved Projects & Existing (old) Editor Access
Can I still access my existing projects?
Yes for now. Any projects you’ve already started have progress in will stay exactly where they are on the legacy site and editor. They will be available to open, edit, upgrade, or order from.
If you are unable to get access to the legacy site and your projects, please contact customer support (support@photobookworldwide.com).
What will happen to my existing projects once the new site is up? Will it transfer?
Saved photobook projects (including drafts and works-in-progress) won't transfer to the new platform. We recommend finishing and ordering any active projects you have on the legacy site.
If you're starting fresh, you'll find it easier than ever, our upgraded editor is built to be faster and more intuitive, with smart tools that do more of the work for you. If you'd like a hand with anything, our customer experience team is here to help.
If I start using the new site, do I lose access to my old projects?
No, the two sites are separate. Your old or existing projects will remain on the legacy site and editor. Any new projects can be started on the new site.
Can I download or back-up my project files before the cutoff?
No, unfortunately we are unable to download or back-up project files. Please ensure you still have the original copies of the photos if you’d like to re-create your project on the new site. If you’d like to finish and order your project on the legacy site, please do so while it is still running.
What about items already in my cart?
Items in your old cart won't carry across to the new Photobook site. If there's something you've been meaning to order, we'd recommend completing your purchase before the legacy site closes. Otherwise, you're welcome to recreate and add it again on the new site when you're ready.
Can I still use the desktop/ offline editor after the new site is up?
The offline editor (Photobook Designer) will be available for only as long as the legacy site is running. Once the legacy site closes, the offline editor will also be closed.
Will I still have access to my ePhotobook(s)?
Unfortunately, access to ePhotobooks will only be supported for as long as the legacy site is running. Once it closes, access to your ePhotobooks will also be closed. Moving forward, there are no current plans to provide an ePhotobook with your physical photo book order.
Order History & In-Flight Orders
Will my order history be available on the new site?
When you re-register using the email address tied to your previous account, your order history will be securely linked to your new profile. While it won't be displayed on the site, we retain a record of it, so if you ever need details from a past order, our customer experience team can look it up for you.
I just placed an order on the legacy site, will it still be fulfilled normally?
Absolutely. Any order placed before the switch is already in our system and will be made and shipped as normal.
Can I reorder my old projects on the new site?
Old projects may still be reordered on the legacy site (while it is running), however it will not be available for reorder on the new site as project files cannot be transferred over.
Vouchers
What will happen to my prepaid vouchers?
Existing prepaid vouchers will need to be used on the legacy site to redeem it for the product(s) intended. If the expiry of the voucher extends past the closing of the legacy site, we will compensate for the outstanding value in gift cards on the new site.
Gift cards issued this way have the same expiration date as your original voucher.
Credits & Payments
What will happen to my store credit and shipping credit?
If you have store credits and shipping credits, they will be transferred over when the legacy site closes. If you’d like to use them on existing orders, please do so on the legacy site before it closes. If you’d like for it to be moved prematurely, please contact customer service.
There will be a brief pause (around 24 hours) during the switch to the new site, where we transfer your credits across. Please sign in to your account with the same email address so you will be able to see and use your store credit balance.
Can I shop in my local currency?
Local currency is available for selected countries, and we are always working on adding more countries. To see the currency for your country, please select your country in the country selector. The currency shown there is the currency you will be charged in. Countries that are not yet available in local currency are charged in USD. Your delivery address will also affect the currency shown, so make sure the country in your delivery address is correct.
Privacy
What will happen to the photos I’ve uploaded previously?
Your photos remain protected in line with our privacy policy and applicable data protection laws (including the PDPA, GDPR, and equivalents in your region). Photos linked to inactive or unredeemed projects will be securely deleted in due course as part of our data retention practices.
Will my marketing preferences/ subscription be transferred over?
Yes, your subscription preferences will move across to the new Photobook. You may hear from us once to confirm you're still happy to stay in touch, just to make sure everything's up to date.
